Catarina was born on August 25th in 1972, making her 39 years of age this year. She is a Portuguese TV presenter, an actress and a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador.

Catarina was born in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.

Until 1990 Catarina attended the Conservatório Nacional, National Conservatory, and she specialized in dance. She also studied drama and journalism at London's International School of Acting from 1995-1997.

She is now married to João Reis, an actor, and has a daughter and a son, Maria Beatriz, age 5 this year and João Maria, age 4 this year.
